Luxury Spot & Acne Treatment Creams

Hear from our happy customers

Spot treatment is crucial for tackling all kinds of pimples. Even if you don’t have breakouts that frequently, it’s always good to have a pimple spot treatment on hand - sometimes you just never know when those pesky breakouts are going to appear.

How to Use Acne Spot Treatment

Using a spot cream is pretty straight forward - all you need to do is dab a tiny bit onto any offending zits and wait for it to dry. You can do this at two points in your routine - either after your serum step or after your moisturiser.

Here’s the thing - no one wants to be wandering around in public with visible dots of spot cream on their face… Right? That’s when you’d dab a tiny bit on after your serum. Once it dries and you’ve applied moisturiser over the top, no one’s the wiser that you’ve even got a pimple spot treatment on.

You can save applying your acne spot treatment for after your moisturiser either at night too. This is actually a better strategy if you’ve got sensitive skin! Having a few more layers of skincare between your pimple spot treatment and your skin helps to ensure that your spot treatment is effective, without potentially irritating your skin.

Ingredients That Make the Best Acne Spot Treatment

Some key ingredients to look for in a great acne spot treatment are witch hazel, salicylic acid, and sulphur. Witch hazel is an anti-inflammatory and astringent, so it reduces any inflammation in the pore.

Salicylic acid both exfoliates, breaking down the skin clog and has anti-inflammatory abilities to also calm down troubled skin. Sulphur is a powerful anti-septic - a little goes a long way, and it zaps acne-causing bacteria in the skin. The best acne spot treatment for you might have a mix of these or just focus on one as an acne-killing ingredient.
